go to the liqour store. They have good cheap stuff there, or go to a local vineyard store if you have one.

my friend recommended me the St. Francis Cabernet. it is 11-14 some odd dollars.
then I was reading Costco's own monthly mag, and it highly recommended the $29 dollars Columbia Crest Cabernet (the article was featuring wine from Washington State).
speaking of Columbia Crest, which puzzles me, I did find some Columbia Crest varitels (except the cab) in my local supermarket (Pavillion/Von). None of their stuff are over 20 bucks, so I don't know why would Costco sell the Cab at nearly 30. anyone got a clue?

Bigger bottle?
that is my favorite under $20 wine. i got a glass at macaroni grill one night on a suggestion from the bartender and liked it a lot. after that, i started going to beverages & more and buying bottles of it. i still go in to macaroni grill also and get either a bottle of that or the very heavy coppola. i wish my local costco had the st. francis cab, or else id get it everytime. of course, they only carry the zinfadel and merlot.Originally posted by: andylawcc
