I know about Gmail but I'm not familiar that it also accepts domain names for free. Also, since it's a free service, who do we complain to when we encounter problems? It's hard to recommend free and beta Gmail to run a email for business you know.
I was hoping you'd say Outlook...but, I still can't help but heap praise on
Mail2Web's hosted Exchange plans. If you think your users wouldn't mind the change, it comes with licenses for Outlook 2003. I've used it for several clients with great results, plus it's easily expandable to more users and offers Blackberry and Exchange ActiveSync services in case somebody wants a mobile device. It also offers the benefit of shared calendars, Outlook Web Access and all the other goodies you'd expect from an Exchange server.
MailStreet is good too, plus they have a great AV/AS service as an add-on. I've found M2W offers more features though and has much, much better support and has been 100% reliable for my clients, whereas MS has had some outages and several problems with their Defender AV/AS service.
