Recommend Gamecube Games

I recently acquired a gamecube and wanted to buy a couple of games. Currently I own Metroid Prime which is a blast. Really fun game to play. Give me your recommendations.

Of Course Zelda...monkey ball is a fun party game...viewtiful joe is nice... StarFox ..super mario sunshine is fun at times...in December paper mario 2 is coming out which I am highly anticipating....

Are any of the Star Wars games good? How about Hitman 2?

Prince of Persia, F-Zero.

Wave Race is fun if you can still find it, shouldn't be more than $20.

Rogue Squadron II is a great SW game, definitely worth playing, but a little short. RS III is good also. Not sure about all of the other SW games though.

I think I will get my hands on RS III. I believe Prince of Persia is better on the PC?

Yea Prince of Persia is good on the PC because it is FPS-ish. Either way, get PoP for at least one system because it was an awesome, awesome game .

Hitman 2 is a great game also, but once again, another PC hit. I'd always recommend these games for PC first.

I'd really get Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for GC if you never played MGS for PSX. They did a nice job redoing the game.

Heres my list of future buys:

Star Wars: Rogue Leader ( the new one III).
Twin Snakes
Burnout 2
Zelda Series

That should be it for GC Games for now, until the new zelda and metroid prime 2 comes out.

some more good (and cheap) games:
- eternal darkness - great story and some "fun" insanity effects.
- viewtiful joe - cool special effects
- pikmin (the second one should be coming out soon)
- super smash brothers melee >D

other single player games:
- metal gear solid
- zelda

party games:
- mario party, mario kart (not bad even with single player), mario golf
- super monkey ball (the story mode is sometimes too frustrating, though)

As for prince of persia (and also "beyond good and evil"), those two are quite underrated but nice games. However, my complain is that the games are short although they have nice story to it. i'd recommend renting them out instead, although for 20$ it's not really a bad deal.

Thanks for the insight. I will check them out. I am not really interested in party games. Although the first two of your lists are good. I will check out eternal darkness for sure. I've heard a lot about it.
