Ok:

I currently have a Lian-Li PC60 pre-mod from Xoxide that I purchased many moons ago. It has served me well, but will no longer *hold* everything.

Before I ask for your recommendation know this:

I know there is no best case.
I am looking for opinions and experiences.

The setup I will end up with now is :

Silencer Quad 750W (PC&P)
2x1gb Corsair Dominator (4-4-4-12) pc6400
Q6600 w/ one of the tower heatsinks (Tuniq or Thermalright)
p5k-deluxe
2x sata dvd+/-rw write anything under the sun
3.5inch floppy
somewhere between 2-8 ide/sata drives
8800 GTS 640mb probably the superclocked EVGA from newegg w/the rebate.

I don't *really* care about the price of the case. I'd like not to spend more than $300, with that being said.

I do NOT want a U2-UFO case, or any case that is literally twice as wide as my LL Warrior.

In general, I am in love with Lian Li quality/construction. The reviews I've read about the Stacker are not so flattering in that department (plastic locks... I don't know what to say to that... )and this WORRIES me.

My mind is open, I am leaning towards the Goliath at the moment and am asking this before I pull the trigger so to speak.

I do not intend to overclock very muc

I do not replace my system every few months/year/whatever. The components inside most likely will not change for 3 years or so, I am currently upgrading from a 6800U gpu and an athlon 64 winchester rated at 3500.

I do appreciate all of your responses in advance, even the biting and sarcastic ones.

Thanks guys.

You should look into a Silverstone case aswell.. Theyre as good as Lian Li's in build quality, if not better. I have the TJ09 myself, and I'm in love with it. Very spacious, very well finished, looks classy and it has seperate cooling compartiments (air that goes through the psu does not get into the motherboard room, nor does the hard drive air)
