I have a circuit city card issued by chase that had circuit city rewards program, now that they are belly up it doesnt make sense for me to keep it especially since they keep raising the interest. I am thinking of getting another capital one since the one I have is at 12% but this time getting one with a rewards program.

I have also thought amex but finding places to take it is sometimes hard.

12% is good? My credit union gave me one with 8%. I'm not sure if you can do a balance transfer though.

Yea my Chase one is at 7.49% and has 29.5k limit. I don't think I'd like 12%.

AmEx has some nice rewards cards like the Blue Cash Card (up to 5% cash back at grocery stores, gas stations, and drug stores; up to 1.5% on everything else -- but tiered rewards structure) and the TrueEarnings card (3% cash back at restaurants, 2% on travel, 3% on gas, 1% on everything else). AmEx is accepted at enough places that if one of their cards is good for your spending pattern, it's worth having.

Capital One and some other issuers have good cards as well.

You might want to try the credit card rewards calculator that's mentioned in my signature. It can help calculate the rewards card that will pay you the most in rewards for you entered spending profile.
