Recommend me a good fridge

Well, I just put my down payment on a new place and now I need to buy a fridge. Any suggestions?

Two requirements:

1) Energy efficient
2) Stainless steel to match the dishwasher/range.

I bought a fridge last year. My main consideration was the height and width. If that is a constraint, I suggest looking at this first and then whittling down your choices.

Consumer Reports helped me in my selection quite a bit. We got an LG which is fine for the price I paid.

It's not about being a moron, it about having Crystal to store. Now if you are living in a double wide both a $3000 fridge and $3000 LCD/Plasma shouldn't be purchases you'd be making...yet they do.

We bought this Samsung last summer to replace the 13 year old GE that came with our house. Have not had any issues with it and the only design feature I don't like is the meat tray that is full width and requires opening both doors to slide out. They designed it this way to allow it to hold cold cut trays but it is somewhat inconvenient for daily use.

i got this one about a month ago. I like it. paid about $1750 for it from lowes. I didn't want a french door style because i didn't want to have to stoop over and dig through the freezer to find something.

consider the "platinum" or "stainless-look" units too. they are usually $50-100 cheaper and dont collect fingerprints, plus you can stick magnets to them, unlike real stainless. I didn't go this route because you can't find ranges / microwaves in the alternate finish, so it doesn't quite match.
