I believe the manliness of a drink and complicated recipes are inversely proportional.

I hate when they put cherry or cherry juice in an old fashioned. I gotten so many bad ones I've stopped ordering them.
I'm a scotch snob. I'm not a big fan of wine (too filling), and beer is only great with food. When I go out to a bar, sometimes I get sick of drinking scotch straight when I can just pour that at home.
What's an effort-worthy manly cocktail? It can be semi-sweet at most.
Mojito is too sweet and just terrible at most bars where they suck at it.
Gin & Tonic? Never tried. Does sound 'refreshing'.
Martini - not refreshing though.
I just heard of Manhattan. How is that? Sounds good.
Recommend away.
Oh, a Capirinhia is very refreshing. Not terribly complicated, but does require effort. As manly as you would expect the manliness of the ave. Brazillian male.
:hmm:

QFT... Amazing.
I've never had a good one in the states though. You gotta go to Brazil to REALLY get one made well.
