What's your problem? It's fake money. Few people are going to play well. It should be relatively easy to turn yourself into a play money millionaire. What are you trying to accomplish?

Hopefully pokerroom is better. I do want to play more than texas hold'em though, sometimes i'm up for 5 or 7 card.

They have analyzed hundreds of thousands of hands by computer. It's completely random. You just see many more hands than you are used to seeing.

on pokerstars you can only get 1000 chips of play money when you have no play money. So if you get that 1000 to 10,000, you can move up play money limits where you'll find better play. You can also play tournaments where you find better play after the first 10 minutes as all those all-in people are mostly gone.

play money is worthless. ive played in the 100,000 play chip buy ins and youll always get a call when you go all in.

just have to play only top notch hands. and youll win. its long slow road.

real money is better. i like pot limit cash games.

Played my first tourney at a casino on Saturday - there are just as many ace-chasers live as on the net. If you can't learn to beat 'em, don't play.

BTW - I took 5th - won $205.

I don't think it is, really. I don't believe in "randomness" by computers. Like i said when my Winamp playlist plays on shuffle (which is also supposed to be random), it chooses the same songs often, from a playlist of 2000+ songs. I think when computers try and be "random" they always end up developing paterns instead.

Liking poker room so far, more games than just texas hold'em.

Actually, there was a problem early on (>5 years ago) with the random seed used to create poker hands on a lot of sites.

However, this has been fixed. The reputable sites use a truly random algorithm. Read about it here.
Shuffling

The point is that while computers have a hard time being truly random, a well -constructed algorithm made by a human and which runs on a computer can overcome this fairly easily.
