Recommend Radeon Graphics card for APU formobo crossfire (Liano APU- GPU+CPU) A6-3620

Hey guys,

I'm scratching my head after a week of digging around. I've not been building computers much lately, I'd like to upgrade the graphics on my daughter's computer. I'd previously added Enermax 550W 80 Plus Bronze power supply to help stability

Is the HD6670 the highest end card that can cross-fire with the mobo Graphics processor (example A6-3650 Quad core APU CPU+GPU)?

What utility is easiest to use for o/c'ing the HD6670?

Other suggestions/recommendations?

Forget any idea of crossfire and add a HD7750 or something.

i also vote for skipping the crossfire
it can add complications for gaming and generally isn't worth it unless you're on a budget, doing gpu compute tasks, or running near the highest end on gpu hardware

First off, APUs SUCK. they're enough for HTPC, but when you crossfire them with desktop parts, they more often makes things worse.

Crossfire only make sense if you're getting good scaling, because it introduces microstutter.

With a weak-ass apu, you're getting 5-10% performance boost over the discrete graphics, and adding microstutter to the mix.

Why would you put up with that only to get 5-10% boost, "if-even" sometimes it gives you negative boost, where your performance actually goes down.
