Hello, my Cyberpower 1500AVR battery just died and it looks like I could get a new battery for about $80 from amazon, I'm thinking I should get a new unit because this one is about 8 years old.
I was going to get the new version of this model (https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-C...73&sr=8-2&keywords=cyberpower+1500avr+battery) for $150 but noticed that it is not Pure Sine Wave. The PFC version is $215 on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-C...77&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=cyberpower+PFC&psc=1). Is the PFC worth the premium?
This is my system and I would like it powered for about 15-20 minutes to be able to manually shut it down if I'm working on something and in the even of a storm be able to watch the storm radar for tornados.
Intel i5 4670k
16GB ram
DVD rom
7200 rpm HD x1
500gb SSD x1
GTX 1070
So PFC or regular, and how many watts do you think I need?
Thanks in advance...
