Recommendation for MSE against keylogger

Hi guys. Im wanting to switch to MSE to all my pcs and relatives one. I have googled for any keylogging software that MSE might miss out but have not found anything on this issue.

Should I assume all good or there are issues about undetectable keyloggers and stuff?

You think if there was a list of things that MSE missed that MS wouldn't just fix it by adding signatures for them? There are review sites out there rating the various programs, but that's about the best you'll find.

I especially like his tip to utilize Hitman Pro as a secondary double check.

Sounds to me like his relatives are already running MSE and he is looking for a keylogger.

Otherwise he would asking about MSE in general, and not just keyloggers.

If I wanted to log my relatives, I would just add the keylogger process as whitelist in MSE...Its that simple. Dont try to think for me. Thanks.

You should chill out a little -- your initial inquiry was kind of strange. Most folks (i.e. anyone I know, anyway) wouldn't single out keyloggers as a basis for choosing their security package. Keyloggers aren't that much of a threat. You should worry more about the rootkits that installed the keyloggers and other malware. That is the actual threat.

I've never heard of the application you linked. Of course, I've never had a keylogger on my machine before, so I never needed software to defend against them. If you find yourself needing dedicated software to defend against keyloggers, you are visiting the wrong kinds of websites....

The best defense against getting a keylogger (or any other malware) is simply to avoid going to the websites where it/they are known to be present (i.e. warez sites, porn sites, using P2P software, etc).

@Steltek: I agree that the post was a bit ambiguous and could lead to interpretation. It was done hastily and MSE is indeed used by a technically limited relative. However, some members took it for granted that I wanted to do 'not so legal' stuffs.
I have other areas covered. Added protection does not really hurt that much
