Recommendation on a 10/100 PC Card

I am looking for some suggestions on 10/100 PC Cards for my notebook.

Any card from 3com is good though you have to pay the premium for it.

I got my 3COM cards through 3COM Promotions at their website for like $70 bucks which it problably gonna cost around $150 retail or something. I would recommend a Xircom using Realport. Those are awesome cards but expensive as hell.

You get what you pay for with network cards. First card I bought was a Dlink card, it went bad after not a long period of time. Next I bought a Netgear card, it went bad a couple of months ago after a little more than a year. After that I bought an Intel card that cost much more than the other two, but I don't expect this one to go bad based on what other people have said about it.

Dlink is on the bottom, Netgear middle, Intel (and 3Com) at the top, same with price.

Edit - oops, you asked about a card for notebooks! Two of my friends have had a 3Com for a year and a half and they have never had any problems with it.

you can get a brand new retail 10/100 3com card for about $45 now.

that would be my pick on a card to get.

If you want to spend less than $25, i'd get the Netgear FA311.

I've never had problems with Ethernet cards going bad, and I've never had one that didn't work (other than a really old 3C503).

My latest one was a SMC EZNet 10/100 that I got from buy.com for all of $10. It was the cheapest one there. I did have to get drivers from SMC, though.. Couldn't believe how tiny this card was (it's maybe an inch and a half tall..).

I have a $13 dollar Linksys 10/100 card, and I've never had any problems with it.
