Recommended Chat/Messege Over LAN - Win2k

Hi,

I have multiple systems on my home network. Most systems run under Win2k Pro. I am looking for a robust chat/message program that is designed for LAN and works well under Win2k. Some important features include a practically interface, sound, instance flashing, etc. Please post your recommendation, and also reasons why you like the program. Thanks.
