So I've been talking to recruiters every day or so about new job opportunities. Most of them call me, ask if I'd be interested, do a simple talk, then setup a phone interview with the employer.
This one I get a phone call from the other day begins the same way. I tell her I'm interested, and then she says the following:
"Well, before we pass you on to the company for a phone screen, we like to do an in-depth interview ourselves. This will take 30 minutes on the phone."
A little odd, but I say no problem.
Then:
"OK - you'll need to fill out 6 forms before our phone screen with the company. They include an application for employment, how you heard about us, background check, information for W2, and personality profile."
I get this email from this lady and it really does have all of these forms. *AND* I'm expected to print AND mail them.

All of this without even talking to the employer to find out if I or them are even INTERESTED.
I'm thinking of scratching this one.
