Why is it when a "deal" like this comes along, some people insist on ordering a bunch? I mean, seriously, who needs 10 36" TVs. We all know that the chance of these orders getting filled is slim to none, but ordering 3+ TVs is gluttonous. Does the greed just take over so much that you want to stick it to Amazon that bad. Or perhaps you do have a need for 3-5 new 36" TVs in your palatial mansions just in time for MTV cribs to stop by.

Sorry, but I myself did put in an order for one, just to see what happens, but multiple orders is annoying.

If these shipments actually come in.. I ordered a whole mess of these.. maybe for those of you who couldn't get one in time and feeling left out.. can buy one from people who bought multiple ones.. haha everyone wins!

Unfortunately there are many people who are very greedy by nature. At this point they'll never learn what it's like to be fair and just in consideration for others, and you can only hope that their greed will get the better of them at one point, leaving them either a victim of someone else's greed or reliant on the good nature of those that aren't foul and corrupt.

Just got ahold of a customer rep at 877-243-2910 and she changed it to free shipping.

She also mentioned it was a typo on the price.

OOPSY!! Not my issue. If I can snag them at this price, I will.

I placed an order for two more.

Pre-ordered 4 total. Hee Hee.

I doubt they'll honor this, but what the hey. Maybe I'll get a free gift card or something.

I called up Amazon to verify that I'm getting this TV because I just bought a TV stand specifically for this deal that was more expensive than the TV!

Considering what happen to the orders last time for 9.99 flatwear set I am 99.99999999% sure that they will cancel the orders.
I am not going to sit back and wait till they cancel my order.
I can prove that This is not a typo since it appeared in several places at the same time.

So I am going to ask for my lost time, lost opportunities and hurting my emotions since I cancelled my vacation flight today morning after seeing this deal at amazon.

Hmm... mine still shows active. But I imagine it will disappear before long.

I wonder if their note about promotional offers means they will still give me the $20 gift certificate (from the $20 for purchasing $50 in housewares offer) if I call up.

Wel i see that the new price on the 36" TV is like $860. I dont expect to get my TV but i better get some credit or a free set of 5.1 Klipsch!! Good luck to all that snagged one, and to hell with those that gorged on multiple.

I'm really annoyed because I checked this site and another deal site in the morning, and missed the notice on both posts. The ones on the other site had been locked so I guess I didn't dig down enough, and gfor some reason this didn't stand out to me of the other posts. I'm really annoyed because I would have ordered one of these and that flatscreen they say was selling for $150

One thing I must say, RCA's suck. Personal expeience, but my family bought A bunch of RCA's on sale for 99 bucks about two years ago. We had four total, like one 27 and three smaller ones. Anyway, Within a year, all four of them had started to die. All of a sudden we'd lose picture and get static. Sometimes it would last for a few minutes, sometimes for an hour.

Secondly, from what I heard, this is a buy and wait deal. They these won't ship yet. Well, I rememeber the Diva deal, and I really doubt the one set of flatware I ordered is going to ship by the 1st being labor day weekend. If it does, I'll be suprised. If it's hard to get flatware for $10 bucks on time, how long will you have to wait to ship something worth $100.

Anyway, one last thing. I don't believe that Amazon makes price mistakes but.... I found one minor one today. Now, the TV had Reg price $999. And it has the slashed Amazon price and then that "so low you have to ad to your cart" whatever. Anyway, the slased pice I uess was meant to say 899, but it read 099. So, of course I added it to my cart to check the price and it rang to $750. So, I guess price mistakes do happen.

One more thing.... I just found out the Diva flatware orders were cancelled. And the wait time for shipping was about the same as the wait for the TVS I think. So, it doesn't bode well. Not well at all.... :disgust:

Someone could do a pretty good sociology paper on the way these things work... It's always predictable. First someone posts the deal, then everyone posts "YEah, I got in!" Then the waiting starts. Then the theories about how it will or will not be honored. Then calls for legal action. (As if.) And finally, the recriminations and accusations. "You ordered two? Why you slimy scumbag, you ruined the deal! Why, I only ordered one, because I love and respect the company."

Hahahaha, I don't know why people try to inject morality into this stuff. It's not about morality, it's just about fun and trying to get something for (relatively) nothing.

Enough already! Check your calendar. Why would Amazon make such a blatant pricing mistake with 3 days left in the month and then not cancel the orders until the next month? Can anyone say "creative accounting"! Not much of that going on these days! I have my name on three of them and will be lucky if I see the cancelation e-mail not to mention the TV's.

But ya never know??? Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every once in a while!

Mine hasn't been cancelled yet. I have a confirmation E-mail, they have Pre-authorized the purchase on my credit card, and My account online says Will ship September 15.

I'm not expecting anything, but, hey, just correcting you in saying that all of them have been cancelled.
