I think jumping straight to 9 is a bad move on RedHat's part.
It will scare business people away, noone wants to be on the forefront when reliability matters.
We're running RH 7.3 around here cause we felt it was tried and true, while 8.0 was too new.
I guess Sun have gotten away with some funky numbering schemes, going from 2.5->2.6->7->8->9, but then, Solaris is kind of a different beast from Linux.
Oh well, I'll still be trying it out, if only to see if RH has managed to unbloat it a bit, RH8 sucked big time as a desktop IMO.
