Reformat new dell?

Getting a new dell M60 notebook with 60gb-7200 drive this week. I am not new to dells as I manage many in our company. However, I am considering reformating and perhaps repartitioning this notebook. Any opinions about whether it will be worth the trouble and time? Also, if I do decide to do it, is there a recommendation on partition(s) for the hard drive?

when i got my dell laptop for home, i reformatted it because i hated the dell and other uncessary stuff installed on it. and what will you be doing with the laptop? that helps people tell u what partition sizes u should use.

It will be a business laptop, used for Office stuff, several business programs, some mapping applications, not much if any gaming, not much, if any, video editing. I am thinking either to leave one partition, or make two, with the C drive being 20 and the rest being used for file storage.
