I'm going to replace an old Epox board that has an AMD chipset on it with a new board with nForce2 chipset. Will I need to reformat the hard drive? Using WinXP.

I recently did it with just a repair installation and a few driver swaps, and it really comes out fine. Reinstallation is not necessary with WinXP/Win2K, IMO.
Some argue, and are valid in that arguement that due to the different drive controllers on the mobos that the drive should be formatted by the new host controller...... FOR BEST RESULTS....
