The 60hz refresh rate problem is a Microsoft decision. Their belief is that only DirectX games should be written and working on a MS machine and DirectX games will hold to the standard refresh rates our monitors currently handle. OpenGL is there, but unsupported by MS, so we all get the default of 60hz in OpenGL games.
On another note, that Reforce has NEVER worked for any of my machines. I'm talking 2-3 different builds, 2-3 different video cards, it never has kept the settings after a reboot. Refreshlock, on the other hand, always works.
