Refresher debate course.

The 2nd debate is coming up tonight. It's been fun participating in the debate here in this forum. I thought it might be of use for all combatents to review the last debate so you may contrast tonights. I plan to print it out and Highlight the areas that need to be addressed tonight,and check for any new revelations.

By the way,I did see that Gore stated he has earmarked more than twice the amount of the budget for the military than Bush. I still haven't got the exact numbers,but maybe the candidates will fill us in tonight. Seems to be a hot topic here.

One of my favorite political writers has called these debates, "parallel press conferences" and I agree. Behind the guise of choice we have King Gore and King Bush. They have their speeches all prepared, I'm sure, and are all set to "debate" yet again.

I suppose I'll watch the show (as if I need more proof of the incompetence from these born-and-bred politicians). Crossing my fingers some new issues will be discussed tonight.

Hopefully they will come to blows and maybe even debate this time rather than just go into monologues.

That's why I thought the vice presidential debate was so much more interesting. They didn't go at each other much, but they did talk about a lot more specifics and actually talked intelligently about some of the issues instead of just throwing out rhetoric sound bytes like "the wealthiest 1% get .... blah blah" or "In Texas, I worked with Democrats and Republicans to... blah blah".

Why is it when I do a search for algore.com I get a site with useful information,yet when I type gwbush.com or gwbush.org in my browser,I get a picture of Shrub picking his nose? Couldn't this gut get control of his name on websites? Has this guy got a grasp on technology and the internet at all?

Makes me wonder.

I thought it was excellent also. I didn't even know a debate could be like that, and at the end I didn't think or care about who won it. Instead, I learned a lot during that debate.

Thanks. That helped a bunch. Now I can compare without the damn spin doctors &quot;Embellishing&quot; every nuance of the paticipants.

It still puzzles me that shrub hasn't got the gwbush.com or org under control.


I hate cyber squaters. It is a deplorable practice,IMO.
