Anyone has version 1.3 ? Are there any problem with version 1.3 ?

Is this BIOS version or hardware revision ?

If it's hardware revision, probably the problem can not be fixed.

does the board you get somehow clearly state on it that it is refurbished? So that if it doesnt and it breaks down after 30 days, anyway to RMA to Epox to get another one?

I just bought one for 59.00, a Soltek SL-75DRV4 Purple Ray refurb for 59.00, a XP 1700+ Retail for 124.00 and a Black Evercase with PSU and not only was the shipping only 15.00 they knocked 10.00 off my total at checkout.

I didn't think it was a bad deal for 291.00 shipped. And I live in Washington so ground shipping only takes 1 day.

I have ordered a couple of the Epox refurbs with no problems. This will be my first on a Soltek, will have to see how that goes.

In the Newegg listing, it states " Ver 1.3 ". In previous posts, there is reference to " V2.0" . Is this significant? Are the refurbs at Newegg a prior version level (ie. with bugs)? Someone please explain.

you can check the last EPoX board thread on these but I'm pretty sure it said Ver 1.3 on the newegg site and everyone got a rev2 board - just a variety of conditions and stickers on the Bios chip. Mine came in a retail box, and was immaculate. All the cables, usb riser, and software.

There is no version 1.3 of this board. I got my 8KHA+ when it first came out (The first week). It was version 2.0

I had three in my kart then went to checkout and only 1. They really need to do it like Electroseller where if you have it in your kart it is removed from online inventory. It's less depressing that way. If you want to sell one for close to what you got it for LMK.

My first 8KHA+ died on me so I RMA'ed it back. Now I can't make up my mind if I should jump on another one. The board was wonderful while it worked!

amurch1023 sorry when I bought mine all they had was 2-So someone else must have taken yours...Soltek refurbs sell out fast. I think they relisted some more of them and you got those, I was like darn they listed some more and I missed them...they have listed eta of drv5 march 7

I've had stuff taken out of my cart alot-do multiple orders if you have to but check out fast-its free shipping.

I didn't really think it was you And I know they go real fast, my ISP has been flaking lately and it didn't help when it took almost a full minute to load the last checkout page. If they would have had 10 I would have gotten all 10 even if I had to get evicted this month to do so. I got the DRV2, then the DRV4 and now another DRV4, I love them and heck there purple too. Can't wait for the DRV5

I haven't seen the DRV4 before today in the refurbished section myself. I bought my first one new retail after my good experience with the DRV2. I wish they as abundent as the 8KHA+ does, you don't have to jump on those. I mean today I was browsing through for about twenty minutes then did a KT266A searcha nd up they popped and as fast as I could get them in my basket and checkout 2 were gone from under my nose. I am sure tey must have been there for a while before I saw them but under the motherboard category under the refurbs it didn't even have Soltek, it wasn't till I did the search that they popped up.

But now is that a hardware or bios difference b/t the 1.3 and 2.0? The only real difference that I saw was that the 1.3 didnt' support XP 2000+
