Id go with the Dell cause its most prolly a trinitron tube and its a flat screen. Plus you are 100% gauranteed to get it in the shape you are expecting.
The Hitachis on this site say MOST are Grade A. Which means you may get one with screen burn or scratches on the glass. Too much of a chance for me to take unless I was talking to the guy on the phone, while he was looking for one that met my needs.

Update for anyone wondering why their order status is still listed as "pending".
According to Julie at Allthingstech (507-929-3650) the problem is that "The truck with the monitors on it broke down". The truck and monitors are due in today and should be shipped out today or tomarrow at the latest.
Now this leads me to ponder a few questions. First off, why would they list these monitors as "in stock" when in fact they were not in stock. Secondly, I am curious how the original poster was sure that "as far as "grade A" these monitors look pretty good", when he had never seen the monitors. I guess he was referring to the ones they had in previously?
I am still hopeful things work out ok, but this is starting to sound fishy.
