I called them yesterday when the site was down in an effort to (1) find out what was going on and (2) place my order over the phone. But they don't take phone orders and didn't know anything about what was going on with the site except that they "couldn't get through either".
On the other hand, if somebody who ordered the Replay Friday night got a confirmation email that did
not say "backordered", then at least I would know that my order was different than the initial orders. At this point, as far as I know, anybody who orders 5 of these every hour for the next 24 hours is going to get the exact same email I got, and that doesn't tell me squat.
Also, I don't think I should have to wait until the 29th to know whether or not my order will be fulfilled. Maybe I
will have to wait until the 29th, but they should have
some idea of how many orders were placed and how many units will be available.
