The player also plays videos and displays photos. What I specifically like about this player is the ability to drag and drop media via Windows Explorer and the option of folder playback. Thus, you do not to have properly tagged MP3s or bother with creating playlists.

Purchased new about a month ago for 115 shipped. I like it better than the ipod. The sound is better and the freedom from i tunes with drag and drop takes it to a whole new level.
Cons. user interface is not as good as the ipod. Screen scratches like a leopard in heat.

Have you tried folder-based playback? Any comments about it? This is the main reason why I am itching to try this thing out: Not many players out there support this feature.
