Mine was 2000X

whats the point of putting the X at the end of the order #? It could only be 9 different numbers, dont see the reasoning.

Did they have 10 or 10,000? No need to give away your exact order number.

It says $99 on the main page, but when you click to order it's $59 plus shipping. About $68 for me.

EVGA called me and asked me what I ordered. The guy asked if it was the regular GTX or the KO version... I didn't remember, so I just regular (even though this thread title says KO version, damnit lol) But either way, expect some calls people. You'll get your part number down, and the order will go through (if you already got a confirmation email).

Was this really the AS3 version? I might give them a call back because from memory.... I just can't remember heh! I just added, and bought, and closed the window.

I know I got the KO version when I ordered- but the confirmation email has no product details, just my address.

One of the 7800's popped back up about 5pm CST for the $59.99 deal. Sadly by the time I saw it, it was sold out, lol.

I just ordered the 7800GTX for the stated $60 + shipping. The KO version was $99.
But now when I check the GTX is $99. WOOT!

Quoted from the top of B-Stock page:
"Special 8th Year Annaversary Note: Check back on this page every few hours for special blowout deals. EVGA will put up a very limited quantity of products at blowout prices throughout the week."

Thanks OP!

Given that the cards works as advertised, it's a good deal. I have a pair of 7800GTX's running strong. Check the VGA charts at toms to see how they perform. Slightly slower that the 1950pros and slightly faster than the 7900gs (at stock) IIRC. Two of them in SLI would smoke both cards, for $120.

EDIT: nm the SLI thing, but still at $99 for one that's a good deal in my book.

No, you don't have to wait until next year.

The 8600GT is probably your best bet out of those two. Or if you don't like rebates:

Great deal if you just want a dx10 card that will do play current dx9 games okay.

I'm sure these cards work perfectly well. I have a feeling they are from their Step Up program where people trade in their video cards, pay x amount extra, and receive a better card.

EVGA generally has 3 series for each card. The reference board, the KO board, and the KO ACS board. The other 2 are different overclocked/superclocked boards.

bleh, unless your current card is in the process of dieing you'd be an idiot to pick up one of the 8600 cards now. They are showing minimal if any performance gain over the 7 series and will soon be irrelevant if the 8800gts cards keep dropping in price.
