Forgive my simplicity, but I'd like to do the math here: you believe the President of the United States is a "communist dictator"?

You should be thrilled that her father decided to give her a real-life civics lesson instead of yet another day being indoctrinated by her communist, union member teacher.

And being indoctrinated by a communist dictator is better? Nah, I'll take the former.

But her father was there to hopefully dilute his influence.

I watched the whole meeting yesterday. He handled himself like a champ during the whole thing. It's definitely worth a watch for anyone interested in the health care debate.

I must have missed it. I didn't realize that Pres. Obama came to power during a violent revolt and has taken over all of industry. :disgust: You guys kill me. Can you just not like someone's policies and discuss them TRUTHFULLY and not make up shit?!

When I'm president I will never look anybody in the eye because I won't have the interest/attention for them. Wouldn't that be awesome, being president and NEVER looking people in the eye, not even the camera when talking because you don't feel the need to?

EDIT: Also, I'd throw temper tantrums all the time and scream.

"The constitution is just a god damn piece of paper!"
Give me a break. Bush never said that, quit repeating the same old BS lines.

You started off with a good point, but then went off the deep end. Nice unrelated jab at the teaching profession and unions.

She got to spend time with comrade general himself. No messing around with the low level members of the "party".

He didn't come to power by means of a violent revolt but the federal government sure does own a share in several large companies now.

You do know that was never said, right?

actually you are correct!!

here is what was actually said---
http://whitehouser.com/politic...just-a-piece-of-paper/

By DOUG THOMPSON
Dec 9, 2005, 06:39

Last month, Republican Congressional leaders filed into the Oval Office to meet with President George W. Bush and talk about renewing the controversial USA Patriot Act.

Several provisions of the act, passed in the shell shocked period immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, caused enough anger that liberal groups like the American Civil Liberties Union had joined forces with prominent conservatives like Phyllis Schlafly and Bob Barr to oppose renewal.

GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.

?I don?t give a goddamn,? Bush retorted. ?I?m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.?

?Mr. President,? one aide in the meeting said. ?There is a valid case
that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.?

?Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,? Bush screamed back. ?It?s just a god-damned piece of paper!?

From dictionary.com

Communism
noun 1. a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.

dictator
noun 1. a person exercising absolute power, esp. a ruler who has absolute, unrestricted control in a government without hereditary succession.

Does this sound like what the president is? Yeah, I know facts have a liberal bias.

Pot, kettle - kettle, pot

The far left is hoping the constitution/paper lie will become true if it's told often enough. While it may be true that other libtards accept it as fact, most of us on both sides of the aisle have enough common sense to know otherwise, yet for some reason the frootloop lefty moonbats just can't seem to get traction on this no matter how hard they try. and now we have what appear to be disillusioned, unhinged folks hoping against hope that simply stating "pot/kettle" justifies the continuation of the lie.

And here's the irony of it all - aren't elitists supposed to place themselves above this petty bullshit?

time to find a new lie to purport

While I disagree with a lot of what Obama stands for politically, I have been very impressed with the emphasis he has put on his family. Just the little things like not using the main office, but preferring to do things "at home" as much as possible. Making the white house kid friendly. Trying to be as accommodating as possible for the families of his staff members. While the republicans like to talk about family, I think he has shown his devotion much more than any former president. It may just be the fact that he has such young children still, but I've been impressed nevertheless. He really seems to be making a genuine effort for everyone around him to be able to spend as much time with their families as possible with their busy schedules. This impression is mainly based off the program that was aired on the Obama White House.
