great....just got a notification in the mail that the dude leaving directly in front of my home is a Tier III sex offender. i've seen him a few times but never spoke to him. he's charged with sexual battery on a minor.

i plan to invest in a sig sauer, katana swords, mace, and surveillance equipment very shortly. anyone else having any neighbors that are registered S/Os....how do u deal with it?

Tier I: Sex offenders must register with the County Sheriff at least once annually for a period of 15 years. In addition, must register any change of residential address, place of employment, or enrollment in a school or institution of higher education.

Tier II: Sex offenders must register with the County Sheriff every 180 days for a period of 25 years. In addition, must register any change of residential address, place of employment, or enrollment in a school or institution of higher education.

Tier III: Sex offenders must register with the County Sheriff every 90 days for life. In addition, must register any change of residential address, place of employment, or enrollment in a school or institution of higher education.

Note: Tier III sex offenders may also be subject to community notification, which means upon a change of residential address, the County Sheriff will provide notice to a neighborhood within 1000 feet of the sex offenders residential address. Get a big sign for your front yard that says "I live across the street from a tier III registered sex offender". Either he will be embarrassed and move, or everyone in the neighborhood will see it and be more aware of the situation. This would hopefully make everyone more alert.
