I'm going to be upgrading some of the computers at my work. I got them SSDs and RAM upgrades.
I plan on installing Windows 10 clean on the new SSDs, and upgrading from 4GB to 16GB of RAM.
I'm wondering about hardware changes with the Windows 10 digital license and Office license. The Office licenses are tied to the machine, not a O365 account.
I'm just wondering if I should:
1) install the SSDs, then install and activate Windows, install and activate Office, then install the RAM (to minimize hardware changes for activation)
2) install SSD and RAM, then install and activate Windows, then install and active Office
I just don't know how much hardware I can change at once and still have it be see as the same machine so the licenses activate successfully.
Thanks.
