I realize you couldn't zoom to city block level. Still, I'm assuming you could get some pretty good views of cities and their relative size/densities. Not to mention all the cool natural formations like the Grand Canyon, the Himalayas, etc. >>

Here, Portland, OR has a land area of 130 mi². If four pixels is equal to a square mile, & we can assume the city to be circular (I know it's not), we could write:
520 = (pi)r²
Or, the radius of the circle would be:
sqrt(520*Pi)
That is approximately equal to 40 pixels. So Portland would be a 40 pixel wide circle.
Grand Canyon National park, at 1,904 mi² would be a 155 pixel wide circle.
Obviously I'm over-simplifying things by condensing area into circular regions, but I think some of you are going to be sorely disappointed.
