I just uploaded a huge picture of San Pedro, California.

someone login and upload the damn thing
Compress it first, please (with Winrar - I think an explanation on how to do so was already posted in this thread, in case you are unsure how to do so.) >>
I've got an FTP with plenty of bandwidth, so connection will be fast. But my ISP will kill me if I let the AT effect kill the node. If somebody wants to upload the 600MB image to me I'll rar it and post it on usenet.
I wouldnt open this with anything less then photoshop.. Any other image program, including any that comes with windows will simply choke.. And Im pretty sure Paint Shop Pro will have a VERY hard time dealing with it..
so how is this getting distributed? i think priority should go to people that are going to distribute it in turn. Whenever I get it I will help to distribute it on my very fast college line. I think i'll probably do it on FTP for AT users and then start sharing it over Carracho and maybe hotline. This is something so cool that losts of people should have it. Over carracho, i could distribute it to 100 people in 2 days i bet.
