Here is link to that:

It said that the military won't be affected.
Remember he just got done telling the serciemen and women, he he gave them a 10% raise, which of course was another lie.

That's the beauty of Trump lying his ass off and getting scot free away with it. He's conditioned his followers into believing that all of his despicable blatant lying of his is for their benefit so it's all peachy keen with them. This gives Trump carte blanche on whipping out those lies of his with no apparent ill effect on his base. He's even lied directly to their faces at every rally he's ever held over and over again, you'd think they'd get a hint that he's using them, preying on them for purely selfish reasons. But naw, he wouldn't do that to his faithful fruity followers now would he? Naw, he wouldn't. heh

It just don't matter a gosh darn thing to his base that he can lie 'til doomsday 2020 when he gets his ass kicked out of office by popular demand (or sooner) and then it's meh, he had his usefulness, it's on to the next Messiah of Mayhem, the next Prince of Putrid, the next Lord of the Lies that they can rally around.

Lindsey Graham seems to be trying to engineer a deal for $5B in border security/wall money for DACA eligibles and TPS recipients.

Anything short of citizenship for all DACA eligibles and permanent status for TPS people is going to be one hell of a difficult sell to the Democrats at this point. Also any deal would have to include some kind of fail safe when Trump tries to piss backwards through some sort of administrative fuckery like he's trying with the SNAP program. This is the problem when dealing with a fundamentally untrustworthy person who will do anything, deals are harder to close because nobody can take your word.

That's why they need a path to full citizenship. Current levels of fuckery can no longer apply.

Citizenship is a reasonable price.

Trump was the one who blew up the DACA program in the first place in his failed hostage taking gambit, so merely returning to the status quo is not acceptable.

Current TPS people need that permanent residency & path to citizenship, as well. Future enrollees status should roll over to that after a suitably short number of years.

We need even more than that to actually be decent human beings about it all instead of otherizing people who live peaceably among us into an abstraction.

You've got them now Don. I'm sure Pelosi is going to rush back to DC to help you out.

Trump needs to walk his talk.

Republican congressman calls on Trump to use ‘own funds’ to help pay for border wall

President Trump should contribute his own money to fund his oft-promised border wall, GOP Rep. Walter Jones suggested last week.

The North Carolina Republican’s suggestion came as the government remained partially shuttered, with both sides gridlocked over funding for a barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border. Jones stressed that whatever compromise lawmakers reach in regards to the funding, the national debt should not be added to.

“We can’t afford to keep financing the provision of government services by borrowing more and more money,” Jones said in a statement. “It’s morally irresponsible and it’s got to stop.”

“As a wealthy man, the president might consider pledging some of his own funds as well.”
— Rep. Walter Jones
Jones said border security is “essential” and funding should be “found internally” if Mexico won’t fork over money to help pay for it – something Trump has often promised would happen.

“As a wealthy man, the president might consider pledging some of his own funds as well,” Jones said.

PARTIAL GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN DRAGS INTO 2019 WITH NO END IN SIGHT

Jones also suggested slashing federal aid or funding the war in Afghanistan as ways to come up with the extra money.

Earlier this month, military veteran Brian Kolfage drew national media attention for creating a GoFundMe page to raise money for the wall. As of Monday morning, the GoFundMe account had garnered more than $18.4 million from more than 304,000 donors.

Since the federal government partially shut down on Dec. 22, Republicans and Democrats have been at a seeming impasse over Trump’s demands for $5 billion for a border wall. Trump continued to press Democrats to "give us the votes necessary for border security" in a series of tweets on New Year's Eve.

House Democrats said they plan to introduce a legislative package later Monday to re-open the government, including a bill that would fund the Department of Homeland Security at current levels through Feb. 8 with $1.3 billion for border security, but it's unclear what kind of support it will get from Republicans. It did not include money for the wall.

Between Obama's name and Putin's dick, I don't see how he has any room in his mouth to be able to speak!

Turmp is talking out of his ass 99% of the time, so that freed his mouth up. Very occasionally he talks out of his mouth (usually when he admits he is being friendly to Putin or that he totally did actually commit the crime but like its not a crime), but that's because well the other end is full, either because well he is "Putin's Puppet", but also that's when he's having shit transplanted to his brain.

I keep coming back to that when I ponder Trump's relationship with Pelosi and Schumer (and well, reality for that matter). Fact is he had already completely forfeited credibility and all trust as a negotiator prior to this. He lies. It's why his own lawyers insisted on at least two of them being present at all times, for verification purposes made necessary by Trump's nonstop lying. Since becoming Russian Asset in Chief he has only hastened the pace. Today the republicans are led by someone who is completely useless when it comes to negotiating, which is hilarious given his election schtick on negotiating specifically.

That the Dems had a deal with the GOP and Trump folded in the 11th hour to calls from the far right echo chamber to not sign just makes it all the more worse for this guy. He has lied to his base about so much already, why should this be any different? I like how Mitch the Confederate Turtle even put it at Trump's feet. Kinda hard to blame the other side for not working with you when you already had a deal. No sense in arguing logic, especially if the idiot himself agrees to claim the blame.

Ultimately he's shooting himself in the foot for the umpteenth time, and it's not just horrifyingly embarrassing behavior for a grown man and supposed leader that chases Independents away. This is hurting (R) people who voted for him, and in some cases not for the first time either. Nice time of year to get lied to, then lose wages. You know who isn't regretting their purge of republican cowards? New England.

Happy New Years guys!
