Effectiveness of a border wall has been proven throughout centuries as a tried and true method of keeping invaders out. I don't suspect such painfully obvious solutions to parade across the minds of liberals so you get a pass on not thinking of it first. Pretty much. As has been pointed out they were for it before it was Trumps. This is a battle of symbolism. There’s merits both for an against it but though are largely irrelevant for Trump and Dems. This is all about symbolism.
