I remember I had the demo, probably in the late 1990's... I think the game company was something like "US Games", but that might be totally off.
Anyways, it was a first-person RPG of sorts, with equippable weapons, armor and the like. Not sure if you could play as a magic user or other class... You started out in an "alley", and when you went forward and turned right, and went forward again, you would see a castle courtyard to your right, with mages shooting magic balls at you.
In the castle, you could go up to the tower and kill the mage, and there were various rooms with food you could pick up. Beyond that, I know there was a dungeon.
