Remote Desktop: How do I clear previous IP address??

How do I clear my IP address from the Remote Desktop login box after logging off?? What I mean is, I'd like for the IP I entered to NOT automatically appear in the login box each time I initialize. These IPs have to be cached somewhere. I just can't figure out where or how to clear it.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Actually, I just found the registry key that keeps such information on Microsoft's site. So I simply deleted the entries. But it doesn't appear that there's any way to prevent this from premanently caching.

EDIT: didn't work. IP still comes up.

you can post the registry key here just so we all don't have to do a registry search next time this is an issue.

I found it in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Default

That's the same key I found via Microsoft's website. Didn't work.

Anyway, it'd be a nice feature to have. Same as disabling caching of previous logon screennames when you log onto Windows. I'd rather not give anyone the opportunity. I work at a shop with alot of people. And I sit near alot of people at a tech school. So the potential is there for someone (with a sharp eye and mind) to decipher what I'm typing for my password

look for it in the group policey editor. If it is anywhere, it is there.

click start
click run
type gpedit.msc--hit enter

Besides the registry entry you have to delete the Default.rdp that is usually located in My Documents.

actually, on XP you only need to delete Default.rdp if you want to get rid of the last address connected too.

Default.rdp controls what address will be in the box when RD starts. However if you leave the registry setting in there, it will still be in the pull down list.

so You need a combination of both.
