remote desktop in winxp to controll server

i was thinking of setting up a remote desktop through xp pro so access my server, does anyone have any suggestions on what i am getting myself into, the limitations or benefits of remote desktop?

Gotta love Terminal services in remote administration mode.
I use VNC on my old Win NT4 servers. It works, but I fing Treminal Server faster.

The VNC server on MS Windows sucks hard. Terminal server is way way better for the task.

There is no "VNC server" in Windows. Remote Desktop is Terminal Server.
