What is the best program to use to access my computer remotely while I am at work...
I was using Remote Desktop Connection thru Windows but I cant get it to work anymore...
Maybe someone can help me fix that problem, I installed Zone Alarm remotely while I was at work one day, then after a short period I logged off of the remote connection...then when I tried to log back on it wouldnt let me...I removed ZA and I still cant log on to the remote connection...

TIA

you might have to re setup remote desktop in your system setting (control panel -> system)...or remove any more registry keys ZA setup?
Remote desktop is about the best app out there...I tried using PC anywhere and although it does the exact same thing...it never seemed to be as responsive as using microshafts...so hopefully you can get it working again :-/

I use VNC for remote desktop at home. You might want to check it out if you're interested. It's pretty good and best of all, it's free!

Have you checked to see if Windows re-enabled the firewall for your network connection?

My RD recently stopped working as well. I've checked the WinXP Firewall and it's still off. I have the port forwarded to the correct internal IP on my router. I have the application enabled in WinXP Pro. I'm at a loss.

It worked fine all thru April-June. But since July I haven't been able to get in. At first, I figured there was something they did here at the office to block that port, but then I tried from another location and it failed there as well.

I must've turned off something in services.msc or something and don't know it. Anyone know the specific service that it runs with? I can check to see if I shut that down.

Terminal Services?

Do you know if other IIS webpages are accessible?

You might just remove and reinstall IIS + Remote desktop component
