This is simply too expensive for a case. No deal here. The Cooler Master AMMO is considered the best case for the money. You can get it for about $70 at ClubIT.

I happen to have the AMMO and can tell you it is better than any case ever. Trust me.

Only one problem, the Ammo is a mid tower that can only house ATX and m-ATX boards. The Stacker can fit E-ATX boards, and it is a good cheap server case.

You are an idiot. It's one thing to be a dumbass, it's another thing to be a dumbass and crap a thread when you obviously know nothing about what you're talking about. Trust me.

The Ammo is a Mid Tower case, the 830 a Full Tower case.

All that out of the way, you can get the case for $260 at MWave + $15 Ground Shipping (to me). They're about the same price and Mwave is a reputable company.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but the AMMO is simply too "shallow" to route cables comfortably. Since the motherboard area is right against the drives area, there's no "gap" through which to lay the cables. Also, the side-mounted USB/audio ports are stupid if you have your computer side flush against a desk, or in a desk "enclosure" Front-facing top-mounted (or midship, if you have your case on the desk) ports are a lot more convinient. Lastly, the gray drive bay covers make it VERY difficult to get properly matching drives (but that's the problem with every non-white and non-black case without drive stealthing.

The Stacker 830 is the new Addtronics 7890A. And, coming from a former Addtronics owner, that's high praise.

And a case you keep maybe forever - and i don't want to look at someting I don't like or that feels cheap and rattles life is too short for that so to me case is top 2 things I invest in ..the first being monitor then case then speakers then KB and Mouse...then I worry about what's on the inside which I switch out every year or less.

Um, did you fail to notice the $16 shipping? Pretty ridiculous that you could overlook that. Shipping is free at ClubIT. So the point of your little post was what?

I prefer the classic original CM Stacker that I have, it was about $150, and worth every penny.
Almost all fan mounts are 120mm, up to 4 in front like the new model, a rear one like the new model. (The top is 80mm but could be modded, the side is a single 80mm but the hole is plenty big enough for 120mm). Supports up to 16 hdds with 120mm fans in front of them. 6 front USB ports. Dual power supply support. Changable from ATX to BTX. Supports a very long (like almost 2 foot long) squirrel cage fan mount to blow across motherboard if you are doing lots of overclocking. The case is built pretty strong with a mix of steel in the main supports and aluminum side panels, Etc.

CM Stacker is great!

I dont know what the new version gives thats worth an extra $100. A quick look on the website says it can be converted to mount the refrigeration cooling system from CM (if you are going that very expensive route, the $250 for the case is peanuts to you), and that it has 9 120mm fan mounts (apparently 4 on the side with a new bracket), but it doesn't appear to have dual power supply mounts anymore, and only 4 front USB now.

Well, if you provided a link or wrote ~$70 shipped, he would've known. BTW, are you capable of responding without being rude?
