Decent move, and one that should have been done by the GOP FROM THE BEGINNING. They intentionally refused to negotiate any part of the ACA despite the fact it was based in large part on Romneycare implemented successfully in MA a few years earlier. What is known as Obamacare is essentially a GOP health care solution they disavowed because it came from the evil Obama.
On the bad side, Trump seems sold on eliminating oversight by state insurance agencies, thus allowing bogus competition by out of state insurance plans. I'm afraid a lot of people are going to end up paying real money for illusory plans that don't work.
An ideal solution would be a bipartisan effort to tweak the ACA and improve it. If The Donald wants to put his giant T on it to sooth his ego, fine by me.
This is about the only potentially positive development since November 8th. I've been wondering all week when my wife and I would be uninsured again, this gives a glimmer of hope.
