How repeater can recognize doesn't retransmits and higher power for noise?

I think in networks a repeater knows what he is supposed to hear. He knows he is getting ones and zeros in. So as long as the repeater can recognize each one and each zero, even with a lot of incoming noise, he can repeat the signal (on the output port) as fresh ones and fresh zeros. Without repeating all the noise on the input.

How does your network adapter recognize what is noise and what is the signal? Called signal processing. A repeater is not a passive device.

Of course you still have reductions in throughput because of a repeater.

It can only operate at a certain maximum speed based upon the signal strength and the local noise floor, called the SNIR (signal to noise and interference ratio). It'll then spend half of its time listening and half its time rebroadcasting the signal and the end device is also still limited based on the SNIR between the client and the repeater.

However, even though you have the repeater penalty (because a radio cannot both receive and transmit at the same time), the possible speed is likely to be much higher than the link between the original base station and the client, because of the rebroadcasting. At least if there is proper positioning of the repeater relative to the base station and the client and especially if you can setup the repeater so that it has line of sight to both the base station and the client if the client does not have line of sight to the base station.

There are also some repeaters that channel shift with multiple radios and do not suffer the repeater penalty. Examples in Wifi are dual band repeaters that can listen on 2.4GHz and then repeat the broadcast on 5GHz.
