I have a Panasonic TC-P50S60 50-Inch 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV I cant hit fluid 60fps in Witcher 3 or Arkham Knight w/gameworks turned on.

What would you guys recommend me switching out to? Or would you even recommend it? I really want a solid 60fps for the games I play. If it cant keep up with current games I cant imagine it getting better as new ones come out.

adjust settings till you get solid 60fps, then upgrade next year after the new graphics cards come out, on new process with HBM2.

FYI, Arkham Knight is a broken game (though it's A LOT better than it was at release).

Yeah, I know I should probably let that off of my list. Its just so sad for me. Im a HUGE batman fan and I honestly built this PC for one of a few games. That was one of them :.(

I guess i can wait but I want to play gaemes nao!

My 980 Ti will hit 60FPS on B:AK with everything maxed at 1080p. Very occasional slow downs to around 50FPS.

I have a GTX 980 I leave overclocked now at 1508 Mhz Core/7800 Mhz mem, and I can max Witcher 3 @ 1080P 60 FPS with the exceptions of Hairworks off, and foliage detail down to High. If you still have dips, you can turn shadows down to high. Everything will look amazing and you're really not giving up much at all. I've tried hairworks on and off a lot and I've decided that Garelt's beard, at least, looks way better with with hairworks off than on.

I'd turn down a couple settings and wait. Your only options to improve your graphics card situation at this point are buy another 980 and SLI or sell your 980 and buy a 980 TI or Fury X, and both of those solutions seem really pricey for the benefits you'll see. Turn down hairworks on Witcher 3 and you should be getting 60ish FPS. Batman? Wait for it to be fully patched; it's still broken at this point. Take a look at upgrading next year when Pascal comes out (although it still might not be worth it for you at that point).

Overclock your card and try turning textures down to normal. The high textures don't seem to do anything at 1080p in the first place, and it feels like most of the people complaining about not how much VRAM they take up are just upset that they can't say "max settings!"
