I just replaced an ailing MS keyboard thru this... sweet.
However, I did ask about the Mouse deal - and guess what... you now need to provided a copy of the sales receipt or if that's not available, a copy of both the bottom of the mouse AND the boxtop SKU.

I tried this with an explorer mouse that went dead and they alway's found an excuse to turn me down. So I did the wise thing, threw it away and bought a Logitech MX 700, woo hoo what a better mouse thanks Microsoft for giving me the shaft or I would never known how good Logitech products were.

Well, I had just gone to the Boeing Surplus Store (er, uh, Junkyard...), and found a new bunch of surplused mice, one of which was an Intellimouse Explorer. After giving them 5 bucks, I tried it out at home and found it completely dead. I called the (800) 360-7561 number and then had me fax a scan of the bottom of the mouse. On that one fax sheet, they wanted to know about when and where I bought it, so I gave 'em a store name and city, and a guessed date. Then also had me type out the mouse S/N, since the scan was hard to read after faxing. The one thing they wanted to know was whether I tried it in other computers and tried other mice in the computer that didn't like the MS mouse. Naturally, I told them I tried all that. They're sending me a new mouse. Pretty good for 5 bucks!Originally posted by SunnyD: I did ask about the Mouse deal and you now need to provide a copy of the sales receipt or a copy of both the bottom of the mouse AND the boxtop SKU.
