Question Replacement for MMO7?

My MMO7 from 2012 is finally starting to die. I know I'm one of the lucky few that got a good one that held up this long. I love the ugly damn thing. It's perfectly customized to fit my hand, and it has the perfect number of buttons in all the right places. I've been searching for a replacement, but nothing seems to come close. The Razer mice have lots of buttons, but I don't want a phone touchpad... Anyone have any suggestions on other similar mice to look at?

You mean a Windows Mouse Optical ?? I know what a WMO is but never heard of a MMO, but i assume it's a "microsoft mouse optical". Model 7 likely means you have a IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 model.

The closest shape to the wmo is likely the zowie fk series, although there is nothing quite like the original wmo (the favorite mouse of many a quake pro).

The g400s also has a comfortable shape and clean look, and while it's a very good mouse, it's a bit too tall for me.

There are *many* good mice available today, with logitch being the main brand. It really comes down to your preference for shell size and shape.

I dont like to sound like a broken record, but this guy is to mice what jonnyguru is to psu, if you want an answer, you can get it there.

1. I am really short on advice re: madcatz, as i know of no player that uses it.

2. The one thing i do know, is that the sensors have improved very much.

The issue with madcatz is that they originally launched to great fanfare, and the mouse was absolute ****, the very personification of the F0r g4m3Rz style-over-substance disease that was happening then.
(And it was expensive!!! too)

Since then, madcatz has really improved, but the memory of the original disaster is still fresh and that's why everyone in eSports dismisses them.

I mean ... it's even hard to find reviews, of that thing. That's how bad they had failed.

Lol you're right...but I must have stuck gold with their QC, because mine is still going strong except for some random accidental double clicks on the back button. But that issue is enough to get me to look into replacing it. I want something with a similar feel and similar number of button options, without the phone-touchpad approach of the Naga.
