So my current setup is as follows sub from the soundbar plugged into arc port on tv, cable box, popcorn hour media player and hdmi switch (with several devices) plugged into sub. This setup works great for me so if possible I would like to be able to hook up a new one the same. I have limitations on space, where I would like to put the bar has only about 32 and half inches in length to fit one which is why this bar was perfect for me.
This is a bedroom and I don't need anything overpowering, I use this one on night mode at all times with the sub turned all the way down.
One thing I have an issue with still with this one is in certain movies and shows on certain devices especially I will have louder action sounds than dialogue, I have tried every setting imaginable to fix this and it doesn't seem to work. So it would be great if whatever I got would have a better way of dealing with this. Another thing is a lot of files I am using through my popcorn hour are now dolby digital plus, so it would be much more convenient to have a bar that can output this rather than me having to downsample to ac3.
I know it might not be possible to get all the things I want in one unit but if someone can help walk me through the options, I really don't know much about this stuff.it would be greatly appreciated!
