Replication problems with a.d.

I am having a problem with getting my servers to replicate with each other.When I choose to replicate now I get an error
that says "Replication access denied".Also when I look in sites and services in a.d. on different servers I do not see the
same things.Any help would be appreciated, Zip

Active Directory Replication is not a topic you can learn on a message board. You **MUST** read , read, read.
I have worked with AD for some time now in production environments, and I would not call mysef a master by any means.
Designing and configuring replication could easily be the toughest aspect of the Active Directory. At best, your problem is a simple DNS issue.
What you need to do is check AD sites and Services, and then check the NTDS of each server object. The KCC (Knowledge Consistency Checker) is resposible for automatically configuring replication paths if you do not create them yourself. Look and see who each DC is replicating with and try to draw it out in a diagram. A visual picture is often useful.
My guess however, is that you have made some ill advised changes and unless you are aware of the specifics, you are going to be SOL.

i converted my whole shop from nt to w2k ad with exchange 2k on ad. That was the WORSE time of my life... my god, can they make the thing any more complicated. It was a pretty easy conversion but man does it sux... lots of stuff to check and etc..

today my ad is running fine but still i feel SO lost at times with this crap.. and u gotta get books... up the wazzo

Actually this may be a pretty easy one.Check the permissions.The admin account your using needs permissions to the parent/child domain from where you want to force replicate.If you using an admin account from the parent domain..I dont know
