Eh yeah. I like ExDeath, I hate CoD after MW1, but I don't think it's worth my time or anyone else's for me to repeat it frequently. Who knows, maybe CoD MW4 will be ridiculously good on next-gen. I play BF3 on PC, and it makes CoD look like ColecoVision. But more important, it's fun to me personally. I think that's the bottom line. Even if we don't like something, if a lot of people play it, it means that a lot of them are having fun with it, and we can't ask for much more than that as gamers. Sure it's worth criticizing the stagnation and lack of innovation, but in the end it's other people blowing their $ on it, and if they continue to want that product, well that's just the way it is. It won't last forever, eventually CoD will wear out its welcome. Even as a BF3 fan, I may or may not actually buy BF4, I was disappointed that they're doing yet another 'modern' shooter. It's far worse than the glut of WW2 era shooters ever was. Since what, 2005ish, we've had :
CoD MW
BF2
BF2 BC2
CoD MW2
CoD Blops (not technically modern, but by weapons/play, it is)
BF3
CoD MW3
CoD Blops2

And those are just the major releases. There are even_more wannabes on the fringes. And of course MW4/Blops3/BF4 are on the horizons.
Of course, the existence of this glut doesn't mean that other cool stuff isn't out there. Tomb Raider, Bioshock, Hitman, Deus Ex, Witcher Series, etc, etc are also out, so it's not like there's not choices. There is also a ridiculously huge backlog of great older titles to check out. I've been going back as far as TG16, Genesis, and sp on, playing titles I never played much back in the day. Just as fun as it was 20 years ago.
