repost but with more information @ walmart pricematching policy and apex 20 inch flat screen tv (85 - 100 YMMV) + tax

for those of you guys that were unsuccessful in getting any past walmart deals because of stores that didnt want to match clearance prices at other walmarts, i think i might have found a way to get around their stupid policy.

if you go to one walmart, but that store no longer has stock of some item (in this case a tv), you can to go another store that has a higher price and buy it at the higher price. after you have bought the item, just take it to the original store that had the lower price, return the item, and then buy it at the original store's price. in my case, the manager really wasnt happy, (haha screw him, he wasted like 45 minutes of my time the other day).

this should work, because the manager stated that stock can move between stores, but the day i went, they were too lazy to do it, so i just did it myself.

so in short. if you know of a walmart that is selling the apex 20 in flat screen tv for 178, you can buy it at that walmart, and then go to another walmart that has the lower price and then just get the difference back.

this should help a bit for some people, but only if you have multiple walmarts in the area, there are like 4 or 5 around here, (ft myers, cape coral, lehigh acres area) so good luck getting your shiz

How do you know the store has lower price when the TV is not in stock?!

good point?? any one have a scan of the UPC? you can scan it at the price checker things.

well, i asked the floor associate if they had any, and he replied by telling me that they used to sell them at a certain price (in this case $100) but they were now out of stock. if there arent any floor associates available, i guess you could do as the post above says and just ask them to check the price of a upc, and that will show up in their system.
