3. Your name and address clearly printed on paper

Anyone besides me having trouble using Buy.com coupons this morning? There's supposed to be some $30 off $150 ones still valid until year-end, but all coupons I've tried come up as invalid.

I really wanted to bring the price down on this TDK bundle ...

I'd really like one of these deals, but after just calling to check up on all the coupons and rebates, I call Buy.Com just to check on the shipping status, only to find out that they DO NOT ship to Canada.
Could someone help me out?

buy.com probably ran out of money on their coupon budget and had to pull them early. This isn't like a B&amp;M store where you physically have a coupon, and they can print only limited numbers to control the usage. Some of us here probably used this coupon more than once and ruined it for other people. I got my TDK about a month ago when the $30 off coupon was valid and got the MIR in my mailbox by calling the TDK number. They mailed me the rebates within 2 days. I have had nothing but an excellent experience so far. Thanks to ebates, I'll also have a check in my mailbox soon. =) Don't forget ebates when buying this or anything else from buy.com!

I mean a friend of mine said well 20x and 24x drives will be coming out soon. But who really cares ya know.

The TDK rebate is good on purchases until the end of the year. Hopefully, there'll be some post-Christmas sales.

Plextor 12/10/32 from amazon $240-50 coupon -150 mci = 40 (waiting for stock)
thunderbird 1ghz + asus a7v + Leadtek Geforce2 = $523 Atacom.com
global win fop-38 + thermal = $35 coolerguys
IBM 45gig Ultra100 from buy.com $170-$30=$140

and with the parts I'm selling from my current box total upgrade cost = ~220, no rebates.

Hi all,

Just one more reminder with the TDK (AND the Plextor version of this drive). You have to put a jumper on two free pins on the back of the drive to enable UDMA-33. Here is a link describing the situation. The post I'm linking to describes the fix on the Plex, but I can assure you that it works with the TDK as well.
