Republican Response to Osama Assasination

Osama was bound to get a bullet in the head sooner or later, whether Obama made the "go ahead" decision or not.

As far as making the "go ahead" decision...does he really deserve so much credit for that? Any inbred, moonshining West Virginian would have made the same decision (no offense intended to any inbred, moonshining West Virginians that post here).

The partisan response on both sides show how divided our country is. It's pretty unbelievable that you have Republican politicians stating Obama deserves equal credit to Bush (when clearly he deserves more). It's not like the Democrats' crap don't stink either though. They're already positioning this in terms of election 2012 instead of waiting a while for the country to celebrate in unison.

It's funny that the presidents are probably the most civil about this. Obama called Bush before he made the announcement and I'm sure Bush congratulated (maybe even thanked him) him on getting the job done.

Honest question for conservatives like Spidey though, was your initial reaction "Great news!" or "how a I going to take credit away from Obama."

And for the liberal hacks, did you say "great news" or did you first think "I can't wait to rub this in those conservatives' faces."

Anyone giving any politician credit for this needs to have their head examined. It was the intelligence community and the military that tracked him down and killed him. Doesn't matter who was/is President, in control of Congress or the local dog catcher.

The people that put their asses on the line to accomplish this need all the praise and the dumb fucks trying to claim credit for one political side or the other need to join that fuckhead Osama at the bottom of the ocean.

He deserves credit for continuing the hunt for Osama, he kept up the resources and manpower that led to us finding his whereabouts, not just the "go ahead".
