Dude is a complete tard and should be in jail for other reasons, but there should have been a fan for both or neither.

Maybe knew he'd not be able to concentrate while the other guy was getting a blow job.

So, we have a tight race for Governor here in Florida.

Charlie Crist is a former Florida Governor and the democratic candidate. He is a complete boob. He switched to the Democratic party from the Republican partry in a failed attempt at running for a US Senate seat.

Rick Scott is the Republican incumbent is the former CEO of Columbia/HCA which had to pay a $600 million fine to the US government for medicaid fraud. He spent $75 million of his own money to get into office.

Adrian Wyllie is the Libertarian Party candidate and despite polling at 15% of likely voters has been kept out of the debates for shady reasons.

So, the two main party candidates went at it tonight and here are the highlights:

cliff notes: the debate almost did not happen because Rick Scott is a two year old...

? Isn't this P&N material?

The OP kinda is as he elaborated more than really necessary, but watch the video.

Rick Scott was refusing to take part because the other guy had a small fan placed under the podium. He only came out probably when his handlers realized what a complete shitbag he looked like being that petty (audience booed when the moderator told them what the problem was).

holy shit that's fucking insane. if that's a decision you make as a governor you shouldn't be running a fucking hot dog stand let alone a whole state.

I saw this earlier. So weird. It was even in the rules, no fan. What's the guy got against fans? Didn't want to be the only one sweating up there?

Adrian Wyllie would mop the floor with both of them. Too bad the voters aren't allowed to see that.

To be fair to Scott, it is definitely an advantage. If you've never been under television lights you might not know how ungodly hot it is. So Crist gets to look a lot cooler and Scott gets to sweat. If the rules said no fans, as the moderator stated, then it was a bit of a sandbagging, imo. No way he could win by throwing a childish fit, though.

Does Scott realize problems that pop up for governors don't check the rule book?

This alone should sink him

I kind'a get the notion Walker's opponent did the fan thingy as a psych-job. Looks like that really worked, don't it? lol

I've seen ploys like this work marvelously well at intensely "heated" contract negotiation sessions between union and management.

The rules said no "electronics".. fans are not electronics. It was intended so they didn't have cell phones going off up there...

Can't wait to vote that reptilian scott out

Typical lib position, rules are only there to be broken, never enforced.

OK, I'll help you out by calling you out for that long scripted laundry list you have stashed of the Dems breaking rules and never enforcing them. Please proceed.

As posted RIGHT above you, the fans were allowed.

But hey why let a thing like facts get in your way.

In the Rightwing-o-sphere, facts don't matter. For them, every week is Hate Week.

Both were idiots. The one for not following the rules and the other for refusing to debate because of something that truly doesn't affect the debate itself. He should have come out, pointed out the rule violation so everyone knows it and then done the debate. Hiding backstage just made it worse for him.

AGAIN, as someone else already linked to, the fan was added on and allowed. It was not against the rules.

Scott comes out looking horrible and his people flying the "its against the rules" when it was allowed make it worse. This is going to be a close race and things like that can swing it just enough to really matter.
