I'll let the American people know that the debate is over and also let them know they MIGHT be 'comparable' results.

Anything to avoid confronting reality that might make your ideology uncomfortable! Just close your eyes and rock back and forth for a bit, the bad feelings will pass and you can go back to pretending you never heard it to begin with.

Just close your eyes and imagine your party not getting slaughtered in 2012.

This perfectly exemplifies why your opinions are so terrible. To you it has nothing to do with good policy, it has to do with your political football team winning the 'game'. I thought people were supposed to grow up and move away from that, but not everyone makes the leap I guess.

Elections come and go, but I imagine you'll be this awful forever.

Well fortunately in this country we have something called elections where people can vote for people to represent them and their opinions. I realize in your world Dear Leader would simply enact policies that were 'good' because people are too stupid to make decisions on their own. The American people aren't convinced Obamacare or its variants are 'good policy'.

One day you will grow up and realize the world isn't perfect and we can't make it perfect by passing more laws and spending more money. However, I have hope for you, you probably won't be ignorant your whole life you will probably wake up one day and figure it out.

It's interesting how quickly partisan left-wingers will jump to extrapolate from a few Republicans to all Republicans. I guess generalizing is okay if it's Republicans.

They showed their ugly side, the side they talk about face to face and try to hide in public. Funny how the right always wants to "save" the unborn and then could care less when they are real humans.

WWJD for real...

Ann Coulter made a good point. Democrats are accusing Republicans of wanting this hypothetical person in a coma to die. But when it's an actual, real, breathing person in a coma, which side wants him or her dead?

Anybody remember Terry Shiavo?

Back to dodging stupid thread now . . .

LOL what? Terry Schiavo was brain dead and lost a tremendous amount of brain tissue. This isn't a case where someone goes into a Coma only to wake up normally after a few months of some therapy. She was in that state for 7 years.

The Teabagger suffers from a bunkered brain. They're bunker brains. They literally are in their bunkers, preparing for the end of society. Stocking up the food, water, guns and ammo. Everyday they leave their bunkers that frightened to death by Rush Limbaugh. These people are scared of everything!

Its a shame that they see no value in society. Its always broken down to things like "government doesn't work", "sink or swim", and pioneer living. These teabaggers will never understand that society can provide for the guy in the coma. That even that guy could be them.

The teabagger is strange fella. He is sort of willingly going to go extinct. Or maybe just dormant. Their lives consist of living in a bunker and checking the mail while carrying sidearm. Their neighbors also are packing up their own bunkers. Preparing for the worse, while missing out pretty much on society and a life. Obama should really make a sincere effort in welcoming the bunker brains back into society. Rush might scare these white men back into their bunkers, but maybe a few will be willing to join society.

is threr video of the event? do you actrually SEE who cheers? could be a dem

According to various updates I get on Facebook, this cheering to 'LET THEM DIE' had been billed as the Republican, Democratic and Tea Party.

It's typical proof that our party systems just turn voting into "FUUUUUU!!!!!" and not what it is we really need.

And you lefties will never understand that government != society.

That is the root of where you all have gone wrong in your philosophy.

You liberal can all shove it. I won't cheer for the uninsured to die but I certainly will not pay for someone's healthcare especially when that someone made a personal choice not to get health insurance.

Every cent I pay towards someone's healthcare, that's one cent less for my kids to go to college, my kids' and my family's own healthcare, my kids and my family's well being. And every cent I own I worked hard for it, I invested time to earn the education and skill for it.

Sorry man, there are too many sad stories, unfortunate and poor people, I cannot help them all. My family is my priority and I have to save for the rainy days and my kids college fund which is scary as hell. If you feel like donating everything and help the poor and unfortunate, go right ahead, no one is forcing you not to. But don't force the rest of us with real responsibility to sacrifice our love one's well being so you can achieve ur grand socialist visions.

Haha, you will pay no matter what... Go to any hospital and it's against the LAW to not treat you. While you'll probably get pathetic service with out insurance ... you'll still get treated but your credit will be screwed for life. But you'll always be taken care of... we don't let people just die on the street just yet.

The Kansas City Star quoted his sister at the time as saying that a "a pre-existing condition made the premiums too expensive", his hospital costs amounted to $400,000.

The bill was handed to Snyder's surviving mother
=============================================
So why are people being demonized and not the problem of too expensive for premiums?

The bills and debts of a deceased person are paid by his estate, not by his survivors, as far as I know. The creditors take a loss if the estate can't cover the amount.

Well yes and no, they turn away tons of people from the ER that don't need to be 'stabilized', that's all a hospital has to do.

In all honesty, it's impossible for us to take care of everyone that DECIDES not to work or DECIDES to just remain on welfare/assistance.

IMHO this is why a sales tax system halts that. Even though you may be working under the table paying 30% tax on that flat panel is a game changer.

While I agree with Ron Paul's sentiments, they have no place in a society like ours where people will generally leave each other to rot. It would be nice if people took care of each other, and some do- alot of religious and non-religious organizations do try to care for the needs of people out there- however, there are just not enough of these organizations. We really cannot leave the welfare of the less fortunate in America -whether or not they choose to be in that condition- up to the chance that some good-hearted organization or person will care for them.

I suppose we could try the option of removing assistance as an experiment, but I am guessing that the results would be disastrous, with all the rioting and stuff. A big part of the problem is the government solution itself, of course. The expectation of the handout facilitates the laziness of some. The system needs to be revised, but we have all said this a billion times already.

I wrote many years ago how the U.S. is heading to riots.

Bloomberg agrees:

http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local...reets_if_economy_doesnt_create_more_jobs.html

Mayor Bloomberg predicts riots in the streets if economy doesn't create more jobs

Mayor Bloomberg warned Friday there would be riots in the streets if Washington doesn't get serious about generating jobs.

"We have a lot of kids graduating college, can't find jobs," Bloomberg said on his weekly WOR radio show.

Bloomberg's unusually alarmist pronouncement came as President Obama has been pressuring reluctant Republicans to pass his proposed job creation plan.

"The damage to a generation that can't find jobs will go on for many, many years," the normally-measured mayor said.

Bloomberg gave Obama kudos for coming up with a jobs plan.

Obama didn't create this economic mess, it developed "over long periods of time," Bloomberg said.

There really is enough wealth to provide all these services to everyone.

The rich, who control 95% of the wealth in this country, are too selfish to share their wealth.

The do not share the wealth equally as 2% of the wealthiest control 95% of the wealth.

They are not required to share equally but what will happen is more people in America will die from not getting what they need so that the richest can get what they want.

This is exactly what is happening in America:http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/57838757/ShowThread.aspx

This 12 year homeless kid went untreated to the point of hospitalization which costs tax payers $250,000 in hospital bills.

This is the insanity of the wealth disparity in our country.

It's sad people die. What are you doing to save them?

Wouldn't your internet costs be better suited keeping a S. African child fed for an entire year?

IMHO that homeless kid was probably on the run/trying to live off the 'grid'...he cost himself his own life (actually his parent(s) did)...anyway those politicians in that article are probably right up their in income....what have they done?

You are a martyr.

It's not about "required to" or "not required to". It's about society being able to function. With excessive wealth concentration, which we have, society breaks down.
